Visited Bangkok on day 1… palaces, temples, flower market and a tour on the river. Day 2, she drove me to Ayutthaya accompanied along with another guide who specialised in knowledge of the history of palaces and temples there We had a lovely seafood lunch by the water in a local restaurant. I recommend her wholeheartedly.

Wandee provides tours that show a completely different side of Thailand as only a local can. She's extremely professional, takes care of everything, very friendly and knowledgeable with great rates. I'll never book with anyone else and I highly recommend her to anyone travelling to Thailand, she really is the very, very best tour guide out there.☺️

My second time booking with Wandee and she took my friend and I to kanchanaburi for a day trip. Wandee was very responsive to emails and set a perfect plan based on what we wanted to see. She picked us up at the hotel and we headed to the bridge over river kwai -> tham krasae cave -> death railway -> erawan waterfall -> meena cafe. It was great to have Wandee with us for the day it felt like we were out with a local friend. She was always happy to join us for photos and also helped us take photos and she shared many interesting stories. Wandee also recommended good brands of spice mix to buy home to cook! Hope to tour with Wandee again! 🙂

Some answers for questions about the tours / my service

What should I wear?

Grand Palace (Bangkok)
The Grand Palace has a strict dress code due to its religious significance:Proper footwear must be worn- no flip flops for example.

Men: Long trousers (ankles covered) and a shirt with sleeves (short or long).

Women: Dress modestly — no see-through clothing, shorts, leggings, or sleeveless tops. Shoulders and ankles must be covered.

Footwear: Please wear shoes or sandals with a back strap. Flip-flops are not permitted.

Elephant Visits
Elephants have rough skin and coarse hair, so we recommend wearing clothing that covers your legs to avoid discomfort during interactions.

Can I Smoke During the Tour?

Thailand enforces strict smoking regulations:

Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
All vehicles used during the tour are non-smoking.
On longer journeys (over 2 hours), a stop can be arranged for a smoking break.

What Language Is Spoken on the Tour?

I and my fellow guides speak both Thai and English.

Please note: English is our second language, but we aim to communicate clearly and are happy to answer any questions.

Drivers generally speak only Thai, but I or your guide will assist with all communication needs.

Is a Deposit Required for Tours?

Yes, a small deposit is required to confirm your booking.

Unfortunately, last-minute cancellations and no-shows do occur, and I am still responsible for pre-arranged costs such as driver fees and lost income.

Deposits are made via Wise (formerly TransferWise).

Once you’re ready to book, I will send you my account details.

Wise is a secure, easy-to-use platform with modest fees.

How Do I Pay for the Tour?

Full payment is required in Thai Baht at the time of pick-up.

I accept Visa and Mastercard for in-person payments. Please inform me in advance if you plan to pay by card, as I will need to bring the card machine.

A 3% processing fee applies to all card payments.

Are There Charges for Cancellation?

Yes — here’s how the cancellation policy works:

More than 20 days before the tour:

■ Full deposit refund (in Thai Baht, minus any transfer fees).

15–20 days before the tour:

■ 15% of your deposit will be refunded (net of any charges).

14 days or less before the tour:

■ No refund can be offered, due to costs already committed.

All cancellations must be made via email.

What Will the Food Be Like?

Lunch is usually a buffet-style Thai meal offering a variety of dishes.

If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let me know in advance so I can make arrangements.
